Tim Baird

Tim joined the Infrastructure and Project Financing Authority (IPFA) as a Managing Director in August 2021. Tim has responsibility for IPFA's engagement with clients, the central agencies and Cabinet.

Before transferring to IPFA, Tim was an Assistant Secretary in the Foreign Investment Division of Treasury and was responsible for advising the Foreign Investment Review Board and Treasury Ministers on significant and sensitive foreign investment applications.

Prior to joining Treasury, Tim was an investment banker with over a decade of experience at J.P. Morgan and Macquarie in Sydney and London.

Tim holds an Honours degree in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
